Holiday Bowl expert predictions, odds, betting trends for North Carolina State vs. UCLA

UCLA’s talented offense teased a good season with a 2-0 start after a win against LSU. However, the Bruins lost to Fresno State and fell into the second tier of the Pac-12 with losses to Arizona State, Oregon and Utah. The Bruins have a top 20 rushing attack with the trio of Dorian Thompson-Robinson, Zach Charbonnet and Brittain Brown, all posing a threat to defenses.

North Carolina State’s solid defense allowed under 20 points per game, a big reason why the Wolfpack can reach 10 wins for the first time since 2002 with a win in the Holiday Bowl. The Wolfpack, a small favorite in this game, is geared more towards the pass on offense, with Devin Leary throwing 35 touchdowns and 3,433 yards. Leary already said he will be back for 2022. More importantly, consensus All-American offensive tackle Ikem Ekwonu is expected to play in the Holiday Bowl for this game. Ekwonu is a projected first-round pick.
